The PTA’s Teacher Appreciation Committee is once again inviting parents to contribute food and drinks for teachers to enjoy during Parent Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, October 26th. This is a great way to show our teachers how much we appreciate what they do and help make their packed day go a little easier. Pitch Pizzeria in Dundee has graciously agreed to cater pasta, salad, and bread for the teachers. Please note that all food and drinks provided by parents must be store bought per district policy. All donations should be delivered to the school office by 5 p.m. on October 26th. Thank you for your help! Sign up HERE!
Harrison kids have had a fun filled school year already. We’d love to include some of the memories you’ve captured enjoying your student’s activities in the yearbook as well. Please forward your 5 to 10 best images to email@example.com so we can include them. Quick snapshots captured with your phone are always welcome! Be it sports, scouts, classroom activities or back to school, we want to see them all!

Mark your calendars for the October PTA meeting where we will focus on Cyber Safety.
Join us for our second PTA meeting of the year. In a digital world, keeping our kids safe online is a top priority. But what does that really look like? Mark DiShaw, cyber crimes investigator with Douglas County, is our featured speaker at this meeting and he will share his expertise with us on protecting our children in a digital world.
We will also hear from our OPS School Board candidates and Laura Beeghly on the new Gifted and Talented program.
Monday, October 17, 6:00-7:30 P.M. in the Harrison Library
Free pizza will be provided and childcare is available (free will donations encouraged).
