Summer Library Hours and programs

The Harrison Elementary Library is open this summer to the public. Summer hours are Monday – Thursday from 12:45 – 3:00 p.m. from now until June 29th. And if checking out great books isn’t incentive enough, below are some special programs offered as well! Please note program times differ each week and adult supervision is required. Check back for more details on additional upcoming programs.

Children’s Museum Science Dome & Experiments  |  Learn about Zula Patrol: Down to Earth in the Discovery Dome from the Children’s Museum.

9:15 – 10:15 a.m. and 10:15 – 11:00 a.m. – Geared towards first through fifth grade, but all ages welcome!

1:00 – 1:45 p.m. – Learn about One World, One Sky with the Discovery Dome from the Children’s Museum. Geared towards kindergarten and first grade, but all ages welcome!

 

June 20  |  9:30 a.m.

The HyVee dietitian will be joining us to talk to us about healthy food and making good eating choices.

 

June 27  |  10 a.m.

Building Your World through Magical Books  |  Building Your World through Magical Books is a program presented by magician Desi Payne. Desi will take us on an adventure around the world using magic, humor, music, books and loads of fun.
